What is a Feather Touch Brow?
Most eyebrow enhancements in the past have just added colour only. Feather-Touch Brow Treatment draws individual hairs into the skin under precise magnification. This process mimics hair strokes among your natural ones in a bespoke pigment to lift and define your brows. Your new semi-permanent brows frame your eyes giving your whole face a youthful definition.
Commonly asked questions
What does the Treatment include?
You have 4.5 to 5 hours of treatment over two appointments. These appointments are 4-6 weeks apart. The second appointment is to "touch up" some areas that may not have fully accepted the pigment. This second appointment also gives a depth to the Feather Touch Brow.
How long does the Feather Touch Brow Last?
The brow can last from seven months two years depending on client's acceptance of the pigment, skin type and environmental factors. We recommend a colour enhancement every 12 months.
Is the process painful?
We apply topical anesthetic to numb the brow area and continually apply anesthetic throughout the procedure. We ensure you are at ease at all times with little or no discomfort.
Is there any down time and will my brow look very dark after the procedure?
No down time at all; perhaps when the anesthetic wears off your brow may be sensitive for a few hours. Immediately after the process your brow will be 10% larger and up to 40% darker. The darkness may last for up to three days. Most people do not notice unless you want a dramatically different or much bolder brow. Because skin is a living changing organ your brow will continually and gradually go through a very slow fading process, however the new framework of brow definition is around for up to two years.
Does Microblading (Feather-Touch Brow) damage my brow hair?
Your hair follicle and hair is not damaged at all and will continue to grow as it always has.
How is Microblading (Feather Touch Brow) different to a Tattoo?
Very different; as Microblading uses a natural pigment and it is drawn just under the surface of the skin. Microblading fades and is sloughed off as the skin cells renew themselves. It does not last forever and we do not use a gun.
A tattoo uses a gun and inserts a chemical dye deeply into the skin. It is permanent process that can only be removed with harsh laser treatment.
Having said that, microblading is a form of micropigmentation and PMU (Permanent Make Up); sometimes known as Cosmetic Tattooing. PMU is now very highly advanced with latest techniques and methods being practiced for many years in Europe and the UK.
We look forward to offering amazing techniques for both lips and eyes in the future.
