Rhinoplasty Surgery

(also known as a Nose Job, Nose Enhancement)

Rhinoplasty is perhaps the most common of all plastic surgery procedures. A Rhinoplasty procedure performed by one of our Surgeons who specialises in Plastic Surgery can completely change the appearance of your face or just make small subtle differences. It all depends on the result you want to achieve.

Any Rhinoplasty procedure should be done in harmony with your existing facial features. Remember that a nose that may look good on one person's face may not necessarily work on another face.

We have over 30 years of Cosmetic Surgery experience and our Surgeons will listen to your requirements and help you to decide on what size and shape nose would best suit your face. A nose that is symmetrical and well-proportioned can give the face balance and symmetry.

Rhinoplasty can be performed on any type of nose and can achieve the following results

  • alter or modify (increase or decrease) the size of the nose,
  • alter or modify the shape of the nose
  • alter or modify the angle of the nose
  • alter or modify the tip of the nose
  • alter or decrease the size of the nostrils
  • alter or modify the bridge of the nose

What should I expect after Rhinoplasty Surgery?

After your procedure you may feel drowsy from the anaesthetic. It is important to have someone drive you home and stay overnight. On this evening we recommend you rest.

You are provided with an after hours direct number in the event you may have any questions or concerns you wish to speak to us about.

The next day or within a few days you must come back to our Clinic for your first post-operative check.

After your Rhinoplasty Surgery it is anticipated that you should be up and walking in around a day or so. There may be some swelling and bruising under the eyes but this should go away within seven days.

You must ensure that you do not undertake any strenuous work or exercise activities for the first week or so. Sutures are removed after five or six days, and most people can return to work 7 to 10 days after undergoing Rhinoplasty Surgery.

Our Surgeons and staff will continue to monitor your recovery through a number of post-operative check-ups and are available at any time if you have questions or concerns.

How Much Does it Cost?

As every patient we see has different requirements, it is difficult to provide standardised pricing as each procedure is tailored for each individual patient's situation. During your consultation your Surgeon will discuss with you the best options for you. You are then provided with a quote so you know exactly what is involved in your procedure and what it will cost.

Our philosophy is simple. We want you to be fully informed, and we want you to understand all your options and have one accurate price quoted once. Consultation fees may apply.

There is no need for you to obtain a referral from your own doctor to see one of our Surgeons. Generally we are able to book you in to see one of our surgeons in 7 to 14 days.
