Mole Removal Procedure

Mole removal treatment available at me clinic, Malvern East, me clinic, Sydney and me clinic, Mildura.

Whilst moles are not particularly large on the scale of physical things, they can have a significant impact on our appearance and/or our self-confidence. In some cases if left untreated they can become Skin Cancers and potentially life threatening.

We have over 30 years of Cosmetic Surgery experience and our Cosmetic Physicians and Surgeons are highly skilled and experienced at examining and removing moles with our state of the art equipment. The removal of moles for cosmetic reasons or medical reasons can be a simple, quick and painless process.

How does Cosmetic Mole Removal work?

With Cosmetic Mole Removal, we use advanced Electro Surgery (RF) equipment to remove the raised section of a mole right down to skin level without cutting or stitching being required. A simple walk in walk out procedure. The Mole is flattened out and for cosmetic reasons the mole is then removed entirely. This is done to avoid scarring that can occur with the excision of moles.

How does Medical Mole removal work?

With Medical Mole removal our Doctors thoroughly examine these moles and if there is doubt over any cancer risk, they will recommend that the mole is totally cut out and sent for analysis (biopsy) and report to you once the results are known.

What should you expect after the Mole Removal procedure?

The removal of moles is generally a very straightforward procedure. The results of this process are immediate as the mole is removed totally. The skin around the site may appear a little yellow for a several days, but this will soon return to normal. After treatment, you simply need to apply an ointment we supply and cover it with a Band-Aid for a few days.

If you have any questions or concerns please call the Clinic to speak with your Surgeon, Doctor,  Nurses or staff members.

How much does Mole Removal cost?

As every patient we see has different requirements, it is difficult to provide standardised pricing as each procedure is tailored for each individual patient's situation. A no obligation consultation with one of Surgeons or Cosmetic Physicians is essential in determining what you require and which procedure would be best suited for you.

During your consultation your Surgeon or Cosmetic Physician will discuss with you the best options for you. You are then provided with a quote so you know exactly what is involved in your Mole Removal procedure and what it will cost before you proceed.

Our philosophy is simple. We want you to be fully informed, and we want you to understand all your options and have one accurate price quoted once. Consultation fees may apply. In some cases a Medicare Rebate may apply for your procedure.

There is no need for you to obtain a referral from your own Doctor to see one of our Surgeons or Cosmetic Physicians. Generally we are able to book you in to see one of our Surgeons or Cosmetic Physicians in 7 to 14 days.
