Stem Cell Therapy

Stem Cell therapy is developing into an effective and viable option for patients who want to better manage the ageing process as well as improving their general health and well-being. Our own Research and Development has shown that Stem Cell Therapy has the capacity to slow down the ageing process as well as reducing the impact and effects of ageing and the associated diseases and illnesses.

The Me Clinic has been at the forefront of Stem Cell Research and Development technology for over 7 years and our Anti-Ageing treatments focus on identifying and preventing age related problems before they occur. Our Anti-Ageing procedures are personalised for each patient to assist with the prevention of age related issues.

How does Stem Cell Therapy Work?

We use Autologous Stem Cell Therapy which utilises a patient's own Stem Cells to treat aging issues and conditions. This method is designed to aid in the repair and regeneration of aging tissue in the body. This is because stem cells are mother cells that have the potential to become any type of cell in the body and also release a whole collection of growth factors which can stimulate repair and regeneration of tissue.

As we age, the number of stem cells in our body may reduce by up to 50%. Our fat or adipose tissue is a rich source of stem cells. The stem cells live in the sapce between the fat cells. During treatment patients receive a combination of their adult stem cells from fat, other sources of stem cells are bone marrow and bloodAutologous stem cells are isolated, concentrated, and intravenously infused back into the patient along with additional factors such as platelet rich plasma to help their survival in the body (platelets live in our own blood and contain a large amount of growth factors).

Stem Cell Therapy is an effective procedure because one of the main characteristics of stem cells is their ability to self-renew or multiply whilst maintaining the potential to develop into other types of cells. Stem cells can become cells of the blood, heart, bones, skin, muscles, brain etc. There are different sources of stem cells but all types of stem cells have the same capacity to develop into multiple types of cells. While there is no guarantee that injected stem cells will transform into local tissue cells, however their release of growth factors can stimulate regeneration and repair of cells around the body.

Stem Cell Therapy can be effective in Cosmetic Medicine treatments for:

How Much Does it Cost?

As every patient we see has different requirements, it is difficult to provide standardised pricing as each procedure is tailored for each individual patient's situation. A no obligation consultation with one of our Surgeons is essential in determining what you require and which procedure would be best suited for you.

There is no need for you to obtain a referral from your own doctor to see one of our Surgeons. Generally we are able to book you in to see one of our Surgeons in 7 to 14 days.
