What Should You Expect After Dermal Filler & Lip Enhancement Injections Treatment?
After treatment, some people may experience redness, swelling, and tenderness. These are common side effects and usually resolve within a few days, but if they persist, you should contact your healthcare provider.
After treatment, it’s important to take certain precautions to minimise potential side effects. These include avoiding strenuous exercise, alcohol, and extreme temperatures, as these can increase bruising or swelling. During this time we also recommend you avoid the use of cosmetics, moisturisers, and products containing AHAs, BHAs and Retinoid.
We also advise that facials, facial waxing or laser treatments be avoided for 10 to 14 days after treatment. If you have any questions or concerns please call the Clinic to speak with one of our Cosmetic Physicians, Aesthetic Nurses or staff members.
