Forehead And Brow Lifts

How does a Forehead & Brow Lift work?

A Forehead & Brow Lift is an effective method of lifting forehead tissue and skin to smooth out saggy skin and wrinkles and frown lines in the forehead region, as well as elevating droopy eyebrows. It involves the surgical elevation of the forehead skin and eyebrows to an optimum level.

What are the different types of Forehead & Brow Lift procedures?

Forehead Endoscopic Lift involves lifting the forehead skin upwards and reattaching it using the Endotyne method.

Forehead Suture Lift comprises using special sutures (stitches) to elevate the forehead skin and attaching it to the underlying fibrous tissue.

Forehead Coronal Lift involves the excision of forehead skin above the hairline or at the hairline. With lax or sagging skin this may be the most effective procedure.

A Forehead & Brow Lift can be effectively combined with Eye Area Surgery for the best results.

What should you expect after Forehead & Brow Lift surgery?

After your procedure you may feel drowsy from the anaesthetic. It is important to have someone drive you home and stay overnight. On this evening we recommend you rest. You are provided with an after hours direct number in the event you may have any questions or concerns you wish to speak to us about.

With a Forehead Endoscopic Lift there is minimal scarring and there is also a relatively short recovery period.

With a Forehead Suture Lift there is no visible scarring with this procedure and recovery times are also relatively quick.

With a Forehead Coronal Lift some scarring may be evident at the hairline, and there is an extended recovery period. However, it can be the most effective Forehead Lift procedure.

The next day or within a few days of your procedure you must come back to the Clinic for your first post-operative check.

Our Surgeons and Nurses will continue to monitor your recovery through a number of post-operative check-ups and are available at any time if you have questions or concerns. If you have any questions or concerns please call the Me Clinic to speak with your Surgeon, Nurses or one of our staff members.

How much does it cost?

As every patient we see has different requirements, it is difficult to provide standardised pricing as each procedure is tailored for each individual patient's situation. A no obligation consultation with one of our Surgeons is essential in determining what you require and which procedure would be best suited for you.

Our philosophy is simple. We want you to be fully informed, and we want you to understand all your options and have one accurate price quoted once. Consultation fees may apply.

There is no need for you to obtain a referral from your own doctor to see one of our Surgeons. Generally we are able to book you in to see one of our Surgeons in 7 to 14 days.

Surgical Warning: Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
