IPL Laser Skin Treatments

How does Intense Pulse Light (IPL) treatment work?

Intense Pulse Light (IPL) is not a Laser but is a Light emitting device that utilises a special range of light wavelengths depending on the treatment needed.

Intense Pulse Light (IPL) uses these wavelengths of light to treat such Skin Conditions such as Sun Damage and Skin Ageing. The principle is that certain wavelengths of light are absorbed by the areas that need treatment but not by the surrounding healthy cells. This minimises recovery time and leads to a more youthful and even skin.

Surgical Warning: Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
