Dr. Darryl is a renowned plastic surgeon who has over 35 years of experience, and an acknowledged leader in cosmetic plastic surgery. He has consulted and performed surgery on thousands of satisfied patients, many whom return for further treatments and procedures.
He undertook his plastic surgical training at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in the United States. He has the distinction of being one of the very few surgeons to hold two qualifictions in plastic surgery from the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons, Canada.
Dr. Darryl is a past President of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and is currently on their Board of Censors. He also is involved with:
- Scientific Committee of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS),
- Section Editor for the journal Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
- Invited member of the International Consortium of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ICAPS)
- Menber of American Society of Plastic Surgeons,Member of the Rhinoplasty Society, the Lipoplasty Society of North America and the Priestly Society.
Dr. Darryl has published close to 100 medical articles and continues to give lectures and courses to plastic and cosmetic surgeons at congresses and to societies worldwide.
From a philanthropic point of view Dr. Darryl is also the Founder and a Director of Operation Restore Hope Australia.Operation Restore Hope has now provided cleft lip and palate surgery to nearly 3,000 children and other medical services to many children, whom without charity would have gone unaided.
