Dr. Vik Jayaprakash.
Dr. Vik Jayaprakash is an experienced physician with a background in Anti-Ageing and Cosmetic Medicine. He graduated from the University of Southampton, UK in 1998 and many years of experience in Acute Medicine before emigrating New Zealand in 2005. Whilst there, he became a fully qualified GP and began practicing in Cosmetic Medicine and Hair Transplant Surgery before moving across the Tasman to Melbourne in 2015.
He has a passion or helping his patients optimise the way they feel and look. It is this passion that sparked his interest in Phlebology and the treatment of varicose veins. Dr. Vik’s main focus is on the non-surgical treatment of varicose veins through either injectible therapy or invasive laser ablation.
He is certified in procedural phlebology through the Australian Society of Cosmetic Medicine (ASCM) and recently was qualified to hold the following title – American Board Certified in Hair Restoration. (ABHRS) He is a member of the American Association of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), the Australian Society of Cosmetic Medicine (ASCM), the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons (ISHRS) as well as a fellow of both the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (FRNZCGP) .
