The benefits of lower and upper back liposuction

This procedure targets back rolls, bulges and other fatty deposits that cause lumps in the back region. If excess fat is misshaping your back the liposuction procedure will offer the following primary benefits:

  • Contouring your shape
  • Creating a better fit for clothing
  • An overall slimmer physique
  • Some patients may experience an increase in self-confidence, but results can vary.

Back fat can be influenced by a variety of factors, including ageing, weight gain, and genetics, among others. The upper and lower back liposuction procedure aims to reduce these areas and create a more proportionate body shape, but results can vary.

After

Liposuction was performed in a two-stage procedure, re-shaping the abdomen, mid, and upper hips, back, outer thighs and upper hip areas.

The goal of upper and lower back liposuction is to aim for a more toned visual appearance and a more defined back region, but results can vary.

How is the procedure performed?

A thin steel tube called a cannula removes the unwanted fat via a small incision made near the layer of fat that will be targeted in the back. The surgeons at Me Clinic will move the cannula slowly back and forth which breaks up the fat cells and allows them to be sucked out of the body with the cannula.

This procedure involves a process that requires a local or general anesthetic. Recovery periods and healing times can vary, and the procedure aims to provide a look that is consistent and natural. The process works to create a tight and smooth look to the skin with a more desirable contour.
