Mr. Amir Tadros (Registration Number: MED0001375519) is a Specialist Plastic Surgeon operating in Melbourne and Western Victoria at Geelong, Werribee and Ballarat. He has been in practice since 1996 and performs a range of cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery.
Since graduating from King’s College in London UK, he has trained and worked in plastic surgery units worldwide and had speciifc training in cosmetic procedures..
Mr Amir holds the distinctive honour of being a triple board-certified plastic surgeon and he is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
He obtained his Australian plastic surgery fellowship (FRACS) from the Royal Australian College of Surgeons in 2022, the UK plastic surgery fellowship FRCS(Plast) in 2010 and the European Diploma in Hand and Reconstructive Surgery (FESSH) in 2010.
Mr Amir practised as a consultant plastic surgeon for over 10 years in one of the UK’s biggest university teaching hospitals and has carried out thousands of operations successfully.
Having obtained his first degree from King’s College London, Amir has trained in some of the most renowned units in the world including the Canniesburn Plastic surgery Unit, St Thomas Hospital London, Southwestern in Texas and Athens. He specialises in all aspects of microvascular reconstruction, hand and aesthetic surgery.
Mr Amir enhanced his plastic surgery training in some of the most prestigious international units including St Thomas’s Hospital in London, the world-renowned Canniesburn unit. He achieved Consultant status in 2011. He further enhanced his cosmetic surgery training in Dallas, Texas and Athens, Greece to develop his skills in facial, abdominal and breast surgery.
Mr Amir is also heavily involved in plastic surgery education and is currently an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons (UK) in plastic surgery and is an honorary senior clinical lecturer at Deakin University. He previously served as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Aberdeen Medical School.
This unique set of qualifications and international patient experience allows Mr Amir Tadros to have a broader understanding of anatomy and techniques used in all aspects of plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery.
He has established many treatment protocols for complex reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery cases.
