Healite II (LED)

Lutronic Healite II is a new generation Light Emitting Diode (LED) phototherapy system. It can be used as an effective stand-alone therapy or as a powerful adjunctive therapy to promote pre and post operative wound healing and recovery and facial peels.

Low – Level Light Therpay (LLLT) with Healite II is the therapeutic use of incident light to photomodulate cellular function, improving healing times, relieving pain, subsiding active acne, promoting skin rejuvenation and others.

This non invasive skin surface treatment system uses light delivered through light emitting diodes to deliver pure light in precise wavelengths. The combination of Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT) wavelengths – blue 470 nm and near infrared 830nm – treats a wide range of aesthetic and medical conditions without heat, designed to minimise the risk of burning or other damage to tissue.

How many treatments are required?

Typically patients are treated twice a week over a period of four weeks.

This is for both post surgical recovery or as a combination treatment with peels/ laser treatment or skin needling.

What should you expect during after treatment.

The Healite II is placed over the area being treated, eg face, stomach. Treatment lasts between 13 minutes to 22 minutes. Treatment is painless and non invasive, patient feel comfortable and the skin feels slightly warm. Patients find the treatment relaxing and an a general increase in wellbeing.
