As we age, the production of collagen decreases and skin cells lose the ability to retain an even texture, firmness, moisture and tone. Several factors contribute to Dry Skin and Uneven Skin Texture.
The dermis or middle layer of the skin contains elastin, collagen and other fibrous tissues that continuously collaborate to support the structure, shape and fullness of the skin. The collagen directly works with keratin to provide the skin with strength, flexibility, and resilience. The environment also plays a key role in the disruption of healthy skin texture.
We have over 35 years’ experience in treating Skin, Facial Rejuvenation and Cosmetic Medicine. The treatments and treatment plans we have developed aim to address a variety of skin conditions and problems. While many patients have seen improvements, please note that results can vary and not all conditions can be effectively treated. Our goal is to help manage and improve skin health, but we cannot guarantee to slow down or reverse the skin’s ageing process.
Dry skin can sometimes be associated with other skin conditions such as Uneven Skin Texture, Acne, and Fine Lines & Wrinkles. It’s important to understand that everyone’s skin is unique and these conditions may or may not be present in individuals with dry skin.
