Solar Keratosis is a pre malignant condition which appears as thick scaly patches on the skin. It is more common in fair skinned individuals who have had a lot of sun exposure and developed Sun Damaged skin.

They are also known as also known as Actinic Keratoses and Senile Keratoses. If left unchecked and untreated they can develop into Skin Cancer; Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC).
